Who we are

Nosy is published by Romain Minetto, an independent developer in France. Contact: contact@nosydating.com.

Who can use Nosy

You must be at least 18 years old. You can have one account, and it is personal.

You must not use Nosy if you have been convicted of a sexual or violent offence.

How to behave

Be yourself: no fake profiles, no photos of someone else, no impersonation.

No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content sent without consent. No nudity in photos.

No scams, no asking for money, no selling or advertising.

Nothing involving minors, ever.

We can remove content, hide a profile, or close an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice when safety is at stake.

Your content

You keep the rights to your photos and messages. You let us store and display them inside Nosy only to run the service. Deleting your account deletes them.

Covers and titles

Posters, covers and titles shown on shelves belong to their rights holders and come from public catalogues (Apple, Deezer, TVmaze, TMDB, AniList, Kitsu, RAWG, Steam, Open Library, fanart.tv, Wikidata). They are shown to identify the works only. Dish photos come from Wikimedia Commons and Pexels; their authors and licences are listed in Settings › Photo credits.

Meeting people

Nosy does not run background checks. You are responsible for your interactions. Read our safety tips before meeting someone.

Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. Reports are anonymous.

The verified badge means a selfie matched the profile photos when the Nosy team checked it. It is not a background check.

Liability

Nosy is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the behaviour of other members.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We will tell you in the app before important changes take effect. These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute can’t be settled amicably, the French courts have jurisdiction, without affecting the consumer protection rules of the country you live in.
